Season for Non-Violence

Non-Violent living that promotes life enhancement is the primary focus of this 64-day campaign. It begins January 30 and ends on April 4, 2009. The Season for Non-Violence is inspired by anniversaries of the assassinations of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30,1948 and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on April 4, 1968.

The creative expression of spiritual and civic-minded individuals in more than 400 communities around the globe have sparked this worldwide movement. We know that proactive voices for peace through justice will resonate around the planet.
