Statement of Faith
Living Sound was formed as a fellowship of people seeking to grow along spiritual lines by awakening to the Christ within. Our desire is to become open, receptive, responsive and obedient to Divine Law. We are not a traditional denominational church, nor do we exclude any denominational venues. We are a church that believes that there are many paths to God and all paths are respected.
We believe that worship of God should be spiritual; therefore we are flexible and yielding to the guidance of the Christ within for direction.
We believe that worship should be inspirational; therefore we place emphasis on meditation and music as active forms of worship.
We believe in the One Presence and One Power in the Universe, God the Good Omnipotence.
We believe in the divinity of humanity.
We believe in the fundamental doctrines of Christianity.
We believe in the metaphysical interpretation of Scripture. The Bible (Old and New testaments) is our primary text.
We believe that church government is to be democratic with the governing body operating by spiritual discernment and consensus.
We seek to teach the Word of God in practical ways with Jesus Christ as our Way Shower.
We focus on a personal relationship with God through the law of mind action, prayer and meditation.
We believe that spiritual evolution requires daily practice as we are open and receptive to God’s inspiration.
We seek to teach Spiritual principles in such a way that the message can be personally applied to each person’s life; thereby leading that person to greater spiritual maturity.
We subscribe to spiritual conduct in thought, word, and action. Our personal relationship with God and Christ Jesus is our first priority. We seek the highest good for all concerned.
